Things you should take a look at
"Slumdog Millionaire." Yes, it's that good. The many memorable scenes are enough, but the exquisite construction, hanging the often-horrible stories upon the quiz questions, is a stroke of excellence.
"The Lord of The Rings." Books and/or movies. Oh, yeah, and "The Hobbit" if you're reading. Sometimes things are so special they become their own category and are not debatable.
Beer, in its infinite variety.
The Harry Potter books and movies: Don't think, just go with it. See above.
Hagia Sophia in Istanbul: If you're not awed, you're dead.
The Riverwalk in San Antonio, a marvelous urban space.
Baseball, the best game for many reasons.
"The Princess Bride," film with Everything.
Langguth: Jesus Christs; great notion.
"Lawrence of Arabia:" great good film, visually stunning.
